The director of the upcoming film, Taika Waititi, recently chatted with Empire about what to expect in the film, which is about love, with superheroes and outer space.
It isn't going to be what it may seem with Waititi, which is unsurprising if you've watched his recent romance with Our Flag Means Death, which he produced and starred in.
When working on the upcoming film, Waititi wanted to explore the idea of love, and show characters who do believe in love.
We got a tease of what to expect from the movie since he took up with the group in the latest trailer, but we are looking forward to seeing him romancing his way through it. It's fun to see how this film prepares him for a new journey of self-discovery in Waititi's unconventional but very earnest style, and how he begins to realize he's looking in the wrong places. I let them appear to me. I was originally hoping to make a film like this, but with this one, it's kind of cooler.
July 8 is the release date for THOR: LOVE AND TUNDER.
