I was happy to hear that the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court was looking into who leaked a draft opinion on abortion rights.

In hopes of being helpful, I threw that out.

The marshal of the court was summoned by Roberts to sniff out the leaker of a draft opinion that the court may overturn the 1973 decision that gave women the right to abortion. It's important to get to the bottom of that, but as long as they're doing some investigating, the marshal could hop on a horse and go to the other justice's office.

The 'integrity of our operations'

The leak of the draft opinion was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations and was a singular and egregious violation of that trust that is an insult to the court and the community.

All true. You can't have a bad high court.

Roberts hasn't commented on the wife of Justice Clarence Thomas, who thinks the 2020 presidential election was the greatest Heist of our History.

We all feel guilty, but we are trying our best.

If you know what I mean, she sounds a few flapjacks shy of breakfast. It seems that a good investigation would want to make sure that Justice Thomas didn't find himself in that situation. You know it through osmosis and whatnot.

Why didn't Thomas recuse himself?

I know the leak is a bad thing, but it's also possible that your wife might have sent a bunch of text messages to the White House chief of staff and then not recusing yourself from the case that would allow those.

In January, Justice Thomas was the only member of the court to rule in favor of former President Donald Trump's request to keep White House records.

Are we trying to destroy America? We are doing a good job of it.

A month earlier, she signed a letter to conservative leaders lambasting the work of the committee investigating the domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol building.

A convenient series of events

I apologize, marshal, I'm not trying to do your work for you, I sent wildly conspiratorial emails in the wake of Trump's election loss.

The Big Lie has spread into a Big Delusion according to the writings of Ginni Thomas. Enough already.

I am not trained in tracking down leaks or leakers. I don't have plumbing or investigative experience. I still think the Thomas family situation could fall under the umbrella of the Chief Justice's "undermine the integrity of our operations".

While you are at it, and I say this at the risk of sounding bossy, what about the fact that the court, focused as it is on maintaining credibility, has three new justices who were nominated by a president?

Representing a minority of voters

Three justices show up on the leaked draft opinion casting deciding votes to overturn the Wade decision. Doesn't it make sense that the people making decisions on a fundamental right supported by a strong majority of Americans actually represent a strong majority of Americans?

The Court was built by power politics. It doesn't deserve to be decided on.

It seems like a small minority of people are determining what the rest of us can and can't do, and that's theocracy-sounding.

I just wanted to throw something at the wall of the court to see what sticks.

I hope the marshal finds the leaker. I know we will all feel better once the court's credibility is restored.

President Trump has been restored to office and all the 5G cellular towers have been torn down so Microsoft's Bill Gates can no longer turn our pets into communists. Or whatever.
