The first two remakes of the Razr phone were marked with a chin that extended outward, but the next-generation model may not do that.
Evan Blass has leaked a couple of live photos through 91mobiles, giving us our first look at what could be the next-gen Razr.
The dual-camera setup on the back of the phone is a huge upgrade over the single-lens rear camera of the predecessor. The upcoming flip phone will have a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP shooter that combines macro and ultra-wide lens. The Razr 5G only has a single 48MP camera and a 20MP selfies.
The design of the foldable flip phone from top to bottom appears to have been completely reworked by the company. A 32MP camera is housed in a punch hole instead of a notch on the previous model.

The removal of the chin, as shown in the photos below, gives way to a more rounded design with more squared-off edges. The side-mounted power button appears to have relocated the fingerprints sensor. The original model had a feature that was embedded in the chin, but it was located on the back of the Razr 5G.

The Razr 3 will be powered by a version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, according to a report by Blass. This is consistent with the information given by the executive. At the time, Chen Jin said that the Razr 3 would be powered by a more advanced processor. A more recent rumor states that the chipset could have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
According to the latest leak, the race for the best foldable phone is going to be won by Moto. The first-generation Razr was a failed attempt to provide consumers with a true flagship experience. The 2020 5G iteration did not live up to its price tag.
There is no word on its battery capacity. It is one of the major drawbacks of the previous-generation Razr phones that they must address if they want to compete with the likes ofSamsung and a growing list of Chinese phone makers.
It is rumored that the Razr 3 will be launched in China in late July or early August. It will be shipped in two different colors: black and blue.
Pricing details are still unknown, but a global roll out is expected. A competitive base price and better battery life will give it a leg up over the other foldable flip phones.
