The full Premium Economy offering was unveiled at the Arabian Travel Market.
The new cabin class will be available to customers on the popular A380 routes from August to December.
As with everything we do, the Premium Economy will be exceptional in its class, with minute attention given to every aspect of the customer experience. Economy customers will be getting excellent value.
We currently have six A380s equipped with this cabin class, which limits our initial deployment, but our intention is to offer this experience to many more markets across our network. Premium Economy will be installed on 67 A380s and 53 Boeing 777s. At the end of the programme, we will have 126 aircraft with Premium Economy cabins, as well as our latest interiors across other cabins. Sir Tim Clark said that it was a major investment to ensure that customers continued to have the best experience in the sky.
The Premium Economy cabin is located at the front of the main deck and has 56 seats.
Premium Economy seats will be installed in the Business and Economy section of the plane.
Premium Economy will have a dedicated check-in area at the airport.
The seats have a generous pitch of up to 40 inches and are 19.5 inches wide. calf rests and footrests, in addition to in-seat charging points and a side cocktail table, are available.
Customers can get complimentary amenities, such as a blanket and a bigger pillow.
Customers will be welcomed with a drink in fine glassware. A selection of meals will be served on chinaware, accompanied by a linen napkin. Premium wines and a sparkling wine will be included in the drinks menu. liqueurs and chocolates are available after meals.
