An air force veteran who won the GOP primary in Ohio's 9th congressional district has a history of spreading conspiracy theories and defending the movement on social media, according to media reports.

J.R. Majewski, who won his district's Republican primary on May 5, painted a sign on his front lawn that appeared to reference the conspiracy theory.

The sign on Majewski's lawn read "Trump 2020", but it appeared to have been altered before January 2021.

More than 50 times, Majewski used the #WWG1WGA or "Where we go one, we go all," on his personal account.

Majewski's congressional campaign account has at least 15 times used the #.

According to CNN, he attended a January 6 rally in which he was videoed standing among a crowd chanting.

The outlet listed a number of other alleged references made by Majewski, including calling the members of the group "unwavering" and standing in for the letter "O" on social media.

The New York Times reported on Wednesday that the congressional candidate promoted a baseless conspiracy theory that the Capitol riot was instigated by the FBI.

Majewski, who works in the nuclear energy industry, described himself in a campaign ad as someone who will kick down doors to return America to its former glory.

An outspoken supporter of former President Donald Trump, he also appears in a music video that criticizes President Joe Biden and the COVID-19 vaccine.

The winner of the GOP primary said in February that he was not tied to Qanon.

According to The Times, Majewski said in a September interview that he isn't a part of the conspiracy movement and doesn't partake in its beliefs, such as the idea that Democrats are baby killers who drink blood.

If you want to believe it, he said. If you ask me what my opinion is, I don't think that happens.

Majewski didn't respond to a request for comment. He decried the media coverage of him on several occasions.

He asked for donations from his supporters on Sunday, saying that the media has begun a full-fledged campaign into him as he is now the nominee for one of the most flippable House seats in the nation.
