What a weekend! Manchester City has a huge advantage in the race for the title, while the battle for silverware in Italy will go down to the wire. FC Porto won the Portuguese title with a last-second goal, while the Women's Super League was won by a ridiculous goal from Sam Kerr. Manchester United slumped to yet another humiliating loss, but that has become par for the course. Here are six people with what you need to know from around Europe. Talking points, top goals, and troubled teams are included. Ten Hag's task laid out bare The club's miserable season got worse on Saturday when they were humiliated by four goals at Brighton, and it appears that the man who will be taking over at Manchester United at the best possible time is ten Hag. Things can only get better from this point on, thanks to the incompetence of previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and interim boss Ralf Rangnick. This is the worst season in the history of the Premier League, but the loss at Seagulls took the negatives beyond the era. United have recorded their lowest points tally since the start of the Premier League in 1992-93 and their worst defensive record since 1991 and they have lost their last five away games for the first time since 1981. The final game of the season for United will be at Crystal Palace on May 22 with a goal difference of just one. To put that into perspective, the team is on plus 64. In addition, United lost to Manchester City in the FA Cup, lost at home to the Reds and were eliminated from the competition with defeats at Old United. It will be the German's unenviable achievement of taking the club to depths they haven't previously encountered in the premier league that will be the reason why Ten Hag will leave Amsterdam to take charge at United. At some point, United will hit rock bottom and begin to climb again. Ten Hag may be the lowest of the low, but it is not a bad place to start. Atleti on course for Champions League spot Real Madrid winning LaLiga a week earlier made sure of that, but there was still a lot to play for in the Madrid derby. A top four finish and a point to prove was what last year's champion had to prove. The team selections of Thibaut Courtois, Luka Modric, Vinicius Junior, and Karim Benzema were not balanced. The four best players in Real Madrid were left out of the starting XI. Real Madrid couldn't muster a final ball that was good enough to win the game, but that didn't stop the players from playing with desperation and desperation being reflected in their approach. The only time they were able to find the net was when they got a penalty from Carrasco. With three games left, and a six-point lead over Real Betis, it's looking likely that Atleti will play in the European Championship next year. Yannick Carrasco sinks the penalty and Atletico are ahead in the Madrid Derby 👏 pic.twitter.com/Gn1PuGXOle Serie A title race still alive Both sides of Milan proved their bouncebackability this weekend to keep the Scudetto finely poised with just two rounds to play. You would have forgiven AC Milan for being anxious heading into the trip to Hellas Verona, who have little to play for. After all, Internazionale had come back from 2-0 down to win 4-2 at Empoli on Friday night, with Lautaro Martinez scoring twice, and the veteran duo ofAlexisnchez and Edin Dzeko connecting for a nifty goal. Milan came out strong but conceded first as Davide Faraoni popped up with a far post headed shot for Verona. The pressure of delivering the league title is too much for young players like Rafael Leao and Sandro Tonali, who are too young to care. If Milan get better results against Atalanta and Sassuolo than Inter get better results against Cagliari and Sampdoria, a first Scudetto in over a decade is theirs. Would you bet against it? AC Milan may find it difficult to win the trophy this season. Conceicao masterminds another title win Porto won their 30th Portuguese title on Saturday after a last-minute winner from Zaidu Sanusi against Benfica. Nigerian left-back Sanusi raced the length of the pitch to convert a Pepe cross in the 94th minute and set off wild celebrations among the players at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon and among supporters back in Porto. With one game to go, Porto have a six point lead over the second place team, who won the league last year, and third place team, who are 17 points back. The balance of power in the country has changed since the appointment of Conceicao as coach, as Porto are still short of the 37 league titles won by Benfica. Porto have won three of the last five leagues under Conceicao, with Benfica and Sporting each winning one. The campaign could end with a domestic double. The Taca de Portugal final will take place on May 22 and Porto and Tondela are the only two teams left in the competition. The guide is for viewers of LaLiga, MLS, FA Cup, and more.

Johnsen gives Venezia a lifeline
It is unlikely that the stylish side from Venice will avoid being demoted to Serie B, but Dennis Johnsen is to thank for the 4-3 win over Bologna on Sunday.
Venezia went from 2-0 up inside 20 minutes to 3-2 down with 20 minutes to play and 3-3 in the 78th minute, but Johnsen had a piece of space inside the box to hit a shot that beat Lukasz Skorupski. It was a good time to score his first goal for the club, and while it may not save them from the drop, it is still a neat souvenir.

Kerr underlines her superstar status
The scene is halfway through the second half of a football match. The Blues were the leaders of the WSL at the start of the day, but went down to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of West Ham at the break and were replaced at the top of the table by Arsenal. Kerr was the only one who could have provided something special for the club. By that time, the team was 3-2 up. They needed another goal to make sure the title was theirs. As Mary Earps, the United keeper, cleared the ball, it came back to Kerr with her back to goal, 25 yards out. The Australia international produced a moment of genius: chest control in the air, turn, volley, goal! The title was secured by their superstar, as they won 4-2.
Sam Kerr does it again!

Ansu 'has a gift'
In between the injuries, Ansu Fati has not lost his goal scoring touch.
After a year out, Ansu scored in his first game back in September and again in January. He only needed a minute to open the scoring in Seville, after three more months on the sidelines. He was introduced with the clock at 74:05 and by the time it hit 75:20 he had dropped to the edge of the box, collected a Jordi Alba pass and shot into the bottom corner. This season, six goals have been scored from 486 minutes of football and nine shots on target.
Ansu Fati made an immediate impact for Barcelona with a late goal.
Marsch and Leeds under pressure
The numbers are true. Jesse Marsch has just three victories in nine matches since he took over from Marcelo Bielsa, and with only one win in their last four games, they are in trouble. His team is back in the bottom three. They don't have their own destiny anymore. They don't deserve more than what they are getting and they are not playing well. They have only scored one goal in their last three.
They lost a player on Sunday, who was sent off, and will be without him against the Blues. Raphinha has only two goals in his last 14 games, while the rest of the team have Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford, Liam Cooper, Adam Forshaw, and Tyler Roberts out. The only positive at the moment is that two of their remaining games are at home before a trip to Brentford on the last day of the season. Elland Road will have to push their players to stay up. They have to believe that it isn't enough.
Roma's season in the balance
It is possible that the team will end their season on a high note by winning the Europa Conference League and getting more European action next year. It's lucky for them, too, because they have little to no chance of making it to the playoffs in their league position.
The Giallorossi can't slip any further domestically as they are winless in the league in almost a month. Tammy Abraham has cooled off domestically (no league goals since March 20) despite his European heroics and a bad result Monday could make the pressure on The Special One intensify.
Grealish puts City in the box seat
Jack Grealish has been a disappointment at Manchester City since his 100 million dollar transfer from Villa last summer, and his omission from the starting line-up in both the European semifinals against Real Madrid highlighted his failure to prove himself as a big-game player.
The England winger made a potentially decisive contribution to City's hopes of winning the premier league title.
Although Grealish failed to get onto the score sheet, his two runs in the final minutes led to goals for Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling. With the three points already in the bag, the two goals boosted City's goal difference to the extent that they are now three points and four goals clear of their nearest rivals.
A four-goal advantage at this stage of the season is significant and means City could lose a game and still have a chance of staying top, so Grealish's drive and ambition in the closing minutes was a big factor.
Assists are only given to players who make the final pass to the goal scorer. It is a flawed measuring stick of a player's impact because Grealish made the attacking break and created the opportunity, but the assist goes to Oleksandr Zinchenko for redirecting the ball into Foden.
Grealish was one of his best performances in a City shirt.
