Chris Paul was concerned about more than a loss on the court on Sunday.

After the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the fourth game of their second-round playoff series, Paul made a suggestion to the fans at American Airlines Center.

Chris Paul @CP3

Wanna fine players for saying stuff to the fans but the fans can put they hands on our families….fuck that!!

Dave McMenamin reported that fans pushed Jada and placed hands on Robin. His family felt very unsafe because his children witnessed the harassment.

The Dallas Mavericks are aware of an incident between a fan and the family of Chris Paul. It was not acceptable and will not be forgiven. The fan was removed from the game by the Mavericks and American Airlines Center.

During the playoffs, fan behavior has been a focal point.

Toronto Raptors fans were called out for their chants by Philadelphia 76ers big man. Draymond Green flipped off the Memphis fans who booed him when he was injured as he left the court.

Green was fined by the NBA.

Luka Doncic had to be held back from going at it with a fan when the series was in Phoenix, as the Suns and Mavericks have had altercations in the past.

Sunday was a day to forget for Paul. He was on the bench for the rest of the game as the Mavericks put the game away.

Six Dallas players scored in double figures, including Doncic (26 points, 11 assists and seven rebound) and Finney-Smith (24 points, eight rebound and 8-of-12 shooting from three-point range).

The series goes back to Phoenix for Game 5 on Tuesday.
