Ja Morant, the star point guard for the Memphis Grizzles, is likely to miss Game 4 on Monday with a knee injury.

There is a good chance he doesn't play tomorrow.

The exact nature of Morant's injury was not immediately disclosed. The play in which Jordan Poole grabbed Morant's knee was the reason for it.

According to a source, the NBA won't take any action against Poole. The league had been in touch with the Memphis executive vice president of basketball operations/general manager about the play.

When asked about what he thought about the play after further review, he said, "Just trying to be matter-of-fact here." The grab of the knee was the reason why Ja was taken out of the game.

The play that triggered this has not changed.

Morant didn't talk to reporters after leaving Chase Center on Saturday night. He initially broke the code by posting a video of Poole grabbing Morant's knee on the fourth-quarter play, but later deleted the post.

Morant was walking with a limp toward the team bus.

He said he wasn't trying to hurt Morant. The two trapped Morant near half court before Andrew was called for a foul. Morant walked back to the locker room with a limp after he was replaced by the Warriors.

It was a basketball play when we doubled him, and I hit the ball. You don't want to see people get hurt. I am not that type of player. I respect everyone.

Morant missed nine games in March and April because of knee inflammation, but the team went 20-5 without him.

Tyus Jones will start if Morant is unable to play. You are frustrated when you are hurt. His spirits are good. He is still trying to get better and be out there with us competing and fighting.

Jones said he did not think anyone was trying to hurt anyone on the floor in the play.

It was an interesting play, but I don't think that anyone in this series is necessarily a dirty player. I can only say that. I don't think he was trying to hurt 12 with the play, it was not a normal one.

After serving a one-game suspension in Game 3, the wing will be back for the fourth game of the series. An irate Steve Kerr said that he broke the code when he hit Payton in the head while the Warriors point guard was in the air for a layup.

The point guard for the Grizzles could be out in Game 4.

When he was on the court, you could see how dominant he was and how much we relied on him.
