The Paper Girls comic book has been in development for three years by Amazon Prime Video. Prime Video dropped the first glimpse of the adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and artist Cliff Chiang's original story. It's not a coincidence that the visuals and music give you the feeling of Stranger Things. This is a show that started in the 80s. Things will get very strange from there.

The briefest glimpse of the four main characters can be found in the short video. Tiffany Quilkin is a young woman who takes her paper route seriously and only treats it as a job. The way her life has turned out is what we see in the movie after Tiffany. Mac Coyle is the third girl in the video, and she seems to be disturbed by her capacity for violence. Riley Lai Nelet insists that she isn't like the other girls. People count on her.

On November 1, 1988, these perfectly ordinary girls get caught up in the adventure of a lifetime when their paper route puts them in the crosshairs of a time war. The girls will travel through time to the past, present, and future. They will discover how their lives turned out. They may not like what they find when they see beyond tomorrow.

The Paper Girls series is being executive produced by Vaughan and Chiang. Brad Pitt is an executive producer on the show.

The premiere of Paper Girls has not been set by Amazon Prime Video. The show may be a few months away, according to the existence of the tease.
