Ja Morant is likely to miss Monday's game because of a knee injury, according to the head coach of the Memphis Grizzles.
He was injured in the third game when Jordan Poole grabbed his knee.
Morant missed practice.
The Warriors defeated the Grizzlies 142- 112 on Saturday. Memphis fell behind 2-1 in the Western Conference Semifinals and watched its best player suffer a knee injury.

Morant was still being evaluated. He voiced his concern with the actions of Poole, who grabbed Morant's knee and jerked it.
He denied targeting the knee.

"I'm not even that kind of player. I respect everybody. I hope he gets better."
The series has been physical.

There is no question that Morant is important to the Grizzlies. In the regular season, the Most Improved Player led the team in points (27.4 points) and assists (6.7) while finishing third in rebound (5.7).
The more battle-tested Warriors areMemphis' opponent in the conference semifinals. The road to the next round is even more difficult because of Morant's injury.
