The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee is running for Congress.

In a thread on the social networking site, the senior campaign strategist and advisor to McCain launched a number of attacks on the ex-governor.

When the campaign ended, I refused to let Sarah Palin speak, and I placed the phone call to Barack Obama for the concession.

Palin understood the party of personal responsibility was dead and replaced by a group of whiners who lied and blamed others for their failures. After the campaign, she went on the attack. I think the idea of Sarah Palin being president of the United States scares me. I was involved in that. We were fueled by ambition to win and I played a part in that.

During a 2020 appearance on Tucker Carlson's Fox News program, she said that there was a lot of sabotage connected to her vice-presidential candidacy.
