Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said Senate Minority LeaderMitch McConnell pulled back the filibuster rule so he could get conservative judges approved onto the High Court for political gain.

Mitch McConnell pulled back the rule in order to have the justices confirmed by 51. The rule of law in our country should be respected, Pelosi said in an interview with CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday.

Pelosi was talking about a leaked opinion from the Supreme Court.

She said that women should be respected to make their own decisions.

Insider reported that McConnell has worked to change the Supreme Court by blocking Democratic nominees and working with Republican presidents to put conservative judges in place.

According to a recent report from The Washington Post, McConnell worked hard to get conservative judges confirmed. Three conservative judges were confirmed by Trump.
