In the last couple of years, we've seen a lot of kaiju fun in the form of Ultraman, a number of films from both Japan and the US, and Kaiju No. 8. Watching kaiju wreck densely populated cities has yet to get old, whether they are metaphors for climate change or the atrocities that human beings inflicted on one another. Soon, a new TV show will join in on the fun.
According to Deadline, Jeremy Robinson's 2012 sci-fi novel, Project Nemesis, is set to receive its own TV adaptation courtesy of Sony TV and Fast & Furious studio Original Film. In the book, the kaiju Nemesis seeks to destroy the city and destroy justice for those who have been mistreated. When her DNA is merged with a murdered girl named Maigo, Nemesis begins to go on a rampage from Maine to Boston in search of the girl's killer. John Hudson is the head of the DHS's paranormal division and is now vindicated for his actions.
No one has done a murder mystery featuring a giant monster as the detective before, so it sounds like a fun premise for a TV show. Please let me know if they have. The six-book series spawned a comic miniseries adapting its events, and at one point, there. The game was never released, and eventually shut down.
At this time, no release date or platform has been revealed. Chad Stahelski is the executive producer and director of the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima, as well as the John Wick franchise. Stahelski said in a statement that he loved the book series and was excited to bring it to life.
