The word Go appears in clouds near Chile as seen by a satellite in space.

The GOES East weather satellite operated by NOAA spotted a cloud pattern that appeared to form the word "GO" off the coast of Chile in South America on May 6, 2022. The phenomenon is an example of pareidolia, where the human brain sees familiar sights in random shapes (Image credit: NOAA)

The Earth is trying to tell us something.

The word "Go" appears to be written in the clouds in a new photo from the GOES East satellite. The view of the Earth was seen on Friday by a satellite.

While we're happy it's Friday, the satellites never rest, keeping a constant and vigilant watch over Earth's weather.

There are photos of the face on Mars.

NOAA made a TGIF message from the letter G spotted in Earth's clouds.

The letters T, I, and F were superimposed on the image so it read Thank God It was Friday. It's fun, right?

Wait, there is more.

The clouds seem to form the word "Go" if you zoom in on the imagery captured by the GOES East satellite.

A fresh look at the image shows what appears to be a giant off the coast of Chile. Is it a message to go to South America? Is it possible for us to leave Earth alone for a while?

It is none of those. The human brain sees patterns in random shapes when it sees recognizable shapes in clouds. The so-called Face on Mars, a wild rat on the Red Planet, and scary skull views from space are just a few examples of the psychological phenomenon.

It is fun to think that Mother Earth might be trying to communicate with us every now and then, because the clouds are just a random shape caused by atmospheric conditions at the time.
