In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, Kelly Clarkson joined forces with Norwegian Cruise Line, announcing that she would be joining this year's Giving Joy winners aboard the record-breaking new ship, Norwegian Prima.
When the ship arrives in her home state of Texas, she will perform at an award ceremony for the top 100 teachers in the U.S. and Canada.

Harry Sommer, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, said that Kelly has been a wonderful friend of the Cruise Line since she joined the NCL family as the godmother to Norwegian Encore.
Norwegian's Giving Joy program provides a platform for us to publicly recognize and provide them with an experience of a lifetime, because we all have a teacher who holds a special place in our hearts. Kelly is the perfect partner to help us bring this special program to life again, because she shares our appreciation for this community of unsung heroes.
Norwegian Cruise Line is giving away free cruises to teachers and schools. 130 US and Canadian teachers have been awarded free cruises through the Giving Joy recognition program. Teachers will win a cruise on Norwegian Prima during her first five-day sailing from Galveston in October of 2022.
