'Friends' Actor Mike Hagerty Dead at 67

The character actor known for his work on "Friends" and " Somebody Somewhere" is dead.

Mike died in Los Angeles, according to his co-star. The cause of death is not known.

She said she loved Mike the instant she met him. He was very special. Warm, funny, never met a stranger.

In the season 4 episode, "The One With the Ballroom Dancing," Mike played Mr. Treeger, who reluctantly agreed to be his dance partner after Rachel.

Mike appeared on a lot of TV shows over the years.

He was a series regular for two seasons of The George Carlin Show and one season of Lucky Louie.

Mike starred in the movie "Somebody Somewhere" with her, playing Ed Miller, the father of her character.

Mike is survived by his wife. He died at 67.
