John Yems, the manager of Crawley Town, was fired in the wake of allegations of discrimination.

Yems was suspended indefinitely last month after accusations of his behavior from playing staff.

The 62-year-old is being investigated by the Football Association for alleged discrimination.

Yems will leave by mutual consent.

The club was taken over by US investors WAGMI United last month and new co-chairman Preston Johnson said the club would begin a search for a new manager.

"We're looking forward to the next era of Crawley Town Football Club," he told the club website.

We are eager to partner with our players and supporters as we build a team and community that Red United fans can continue to be proud of.

Lewis Young will remain as interim manager for the final game of the season.

More to come.
