He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, followed by one year of supervised release, fined $2,500, and ordered to pay $1,500 in restoration over his August 1, 2021 incident onboard a Frontier Airlines flight to Miami.

Jordan Galarza, who struck Berry in the face with a closed fist, and Tymerah Burgess, who had her breasts groped by Berry, were both present at the sentencing hearing and decided Berry's light sentence.

“He made an enemy of everyone on that flight. The people on that aircraft saw justice happen — more than what we saw today.

“I think it’s a disgusting miscarriage of justice, in my opinion.”

Berry's attorney apologized on behalf of his client and Berry's family, stating he was a good kid who just had a bad day and was sorry for his actions.

Rather than divert, the captain of the flight chose to continue on to Miami. Berry was duct-taped to his seat for the rest of the flight. Berry was duct-taped to his seat. He calmed down before the flight.
