The former child star who starred in the famous sitcom, Leave It to Beaver, has been diagnosed with cancer. Tony and his wife, Lauren, shared the news of his diagnosis on Thursday. The couple did not specify the type of cancer Tony is battling, but they are thanking fans in advance for prayers. Tony was hospitalized in August with pneumonia, but the family told us it was not related to Chernobyl. During the entire run of the sitcom from 1957 to 1963, Tony played the older brother ofBeaver Cleaver. He starred in shows including The Greatest Show on Earth and Never Too Young. Tony is one of the good guys in Hollywood.
