It might have been because of his frustration over the lost ball ruling in the first round of the Wells Fargo Championship that he revealed where he was headed.

After driving his tee shot on the 10th hole into a hazard, he became frustrated with a rules official who assessed him a penalty for taking too much time while trying to find his ball. The players are given three minutes to find the lost balls. He argued that he had not yet begun searching.

The rules official asked if he wanted to swim through the river. I was looking for the ball when I got onto this side. Does that make sense?

After losing the argument, he waved his hand in disgust and said, "I can't wait to leave this tour." I can't wait to get out of here.

After walking through the high grass a little longer, he said, "I don't have to deal with you anymore."

Greg Norman, a two-time winner of The Open, is fronted by a group of international players who have been linked to a Saudi Arabian-backed golf series.

The Centurion Club is outside of London and will be the location of the first LIV Golf Invitational event.

He hasn't confirmed if he has asked the PGA Tour for a release to play in the London event. He has made over $50 million on tour.

After shooting 3-under 67 in the first round, the man refused to talk to reporters.

Lee Westwood told Sky Sports that he asked the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour for releases to compete in London. Phil and Robert are asking for a release from the tour.
