In a one-on-one race, he believes he could beat Hill.
Hill wants Metcalf to put his money in his mouth.
The Miami Dolphins receiver offered to put up $50,000 on the line for charity in a potential race.
Ty Hill @cheetahPut up 50k and the money goes to any charity you want if you win !!! I dm you and you was scared 😂😂 I got receipts https://t.co/zVy03vDOf5
He might want to wait until he signs his new contract to put that money on the line. After signing a $120 million contract with the Dolphins, Hill is likely feeling a little frisky, while Metcalf is yet to sign a long-term extension.
He may want to hold off until he is healthy.
Hill would be a favorite, just not as much as you think. At the combine, Metcalf ran a 4.33-second time at the 40-yard dash. The 4.29-second time Hill posted at his 2016 pro day is only 0.04 seconds slower.
During his first season, Hill posted two of the three fastest in-game speeds tracked by the NFL. Being four years Hill's junior gives Metcalf the slight advantage.
It is time to pony up the money and make this happen. For our sakes.
