Tom Brady has finally let the secret out on the "tuck rule" game.

In a social media post Thursday, the player said it might have been a mistake.

He said that it was still a close decision.

I said might. Such a tough call. No choice but to respect the officials probably correct decision. https://t.co/0qXIiq5Ux9

In the 2002 playoffs, Brady was able to earn a come-from-behind win after the apparent fumbled ball was ruled an incomplete pass. New England won its first of six Super Bowl titles under Brady.

Brady noted the importance of that call in his career.

Brady said in the documentary 30 for 30 that he was probably the backup quarterback going into 2002.

Brady admits that the call that changed the course of the game might have been a mistake. It might not be enough for Raiders fans to feel better about the game.
