A New York-based tattoo artist who goes by the name of Mashkow has created one of the most grotesquely fascinating tattoos we have ever seen.

An image on the internet shows the face of the billionaire CEO on the forearm of the artist's client, causing a fit of rage and confusion.

The depiction is amazing. Musk has a tattoo with red tinted eyes. The names of his companies, along with what appears to be X Space, are pictured. The Free Speech slogan is on Musk's forehead and is a reference to the CEO's obsession with turning the site into an. Something appears to be coming from the entrepreneur's lower lip.

Some people pointed out some issues with the ink.

One Twitter user offered helpfully, "Actually, it's Neuralink."

That’s the Point

It is a hideous tattoo that makes us question the true intentions behind it. Is it meant to be a commentary on society's obsession with entrepreneurs? Was it just a case of bad taste?

The artist's previous and extensive work, which can be viewed on their account, is likely the former, or perhaps a little bit of both.

I genuinely don't know if this is ironic or a fan.

It's obvious that the artwork was meant to evoke this kind of reaction. Art is in the beholder's bloodshot eyes.

We wouldn't be shocked if the client had a moment of regret because there is no way this tattoo will age gracefully.

"Can't wait to see this on a coverup episode of Inkmaster," joked John Paczkowski, editor of the news site.

Musk changed his profile picture.
