Oscar Isaac On Whether ‘Moon Knight’ Is Getting A Season 2

The question of whether or not Moon Knight returns for season 2 is ridiculous, at best, as the show has aired six episodes and ended its first season yesterday. Disney Plus shows move into movies. Moon Knight was once described as a mini-series. What is going on here?

The second season of the show may not come to pass, depending on what Disney and Marvel want to do, but the cast, including Oscar, have some thoughts on it. There are more to come.

Oscar, Steven, and Moon Knight spoke to RadioTimes.

I think we just put everything out on the table and said this is the story. There is no official plan to continue it. It would depend on the story.

I love being Steven, he said. It is so much fun to be him. If there was a story that made sense, I would be happy to be a part of it.

The ending of Moon Knight seems to indicate there could be more to come, as it echoes the idea that the show was originally scripted as a mini-series.

I have not heard anything. I am yet to hear if there are plans. I would consider returning if there were. Of course.

The showrunner seems to be more enthusiastic about the second season, given how it ended and who it introduced.

He told the website that he can't wait to see what happens with the third character.

That would need a second season to be worked out. They turned down a bunch of MCU cameos so they could be their own entity, rather than having fans trying to spot the larger universe.

When it comes to furthering its Disney Plus series, there is a lot of confusion. There are only two shows that have second seasons coming. The next time we might see Kate Bishop is not yet known. But Moon Knight? Even though the cast is somewhat subdued about the prospect for now, Moon Knight is still asking for a season 2. We will see what Disney says after the numbers come in.
