ThePixel Buds Pro, a high-end version of itsPixel Buds line, will be launched soon, and it hopes that it will compete with the likes of Apple's AirPods Pro.

According to Jon Prosser, the Pixel Buds Pro will come in four colors: Real Red, Carbon, Limoncello, and Fog. Prosser did not reveal a specific date, but he did say that it would be next week, just a week before the I/O conference where it is expected to announce a new low-end device.

Rumors have yet to surface about what design and features the Pixel Buds Pro will include to compete with Apple's popular Air Pods. The cheapest earbuds on the market are the Air Pods Pro, which costs $249, or the newest low-end earbuds, the AirPods 3, which costs $179. The A-Series buds do not have features typically attributed to a pro ear bud.

The Pixel Buds Pro can be expected to feature the intelligent features of the Google Assistant, such as adaptive sound, which adjusts volume based on your surroundings, and touch controls.
