Travel firms recognised for being best places to work in new awards

Kuoni was named the best large workplace in travel based on feedback from staff.

Travel Village Group was the best medium employer.

The UK's Top 20 Best Workplaces in Travel includes 17 other travel firms.

Travel businesses who put their people first during the Pandemic are celebrated on the listing.

The winners were identified by asking their employees to rate what is important to them at work in a survey format.

The brainchild of Gail Kenny, founder of Gail Kenny Executive Recruitment, is the Best Workplaces in Travel.

According to employees of more than 60 travel businesses, the top five criteria that make a great place to work are:

1. Being part of a team that works well together
2. Respect for work life balance
3. Leaders are supportive, positive and inspiring
4. Recognition and thanks for a job well done
5. All individuals are valued

The response to the Best Workplaces in Travel list was very pleased by Kenny.

The awards will launch at the end of the year of 2022.
