Cruise lines thank advisors with free sailings, bonus commission: Travel Weekly

Several river and ocean cruise lines are giving away goodies and bonuses to celebrate Travel Advisor Appreciation Day.

Hurtigruten is giving away a free cruise to agents who book three nine-day Galapagos cruises this year. Any time this year, bookings can be made. Once the guests have sailed, agents are eligible for a free cruise on the same itinerary.

All new bookings in May will get $500 in bonus commission.

Virgin Voyages is giving away weekly prizes on SeaCiety, an online Facebook group for travel agents. Every week in May, agents have the chance to win a Virgin gift card. The winners are announced on Thursdays.

5% bonus commission is offered on new Europe and Southeast Asia river cruise bookings made for the 2022 season and 2% bonus commission is offered for the 2023 season. The ExpressBook system needs to be used by June 30.

Five free cruises will be given to advisors, with extra entries earned for booking for the West Coast and South America.
