There is a new celebrity comic going to the rack. The star of the Disney+ series, Moon Knight, is working on a graphic novel with a publisher.
Before we went any further, I didn't draw or write this. The credits include a story by John Alvey and a story by Robert Johnson, as well as written by New York Times best-selling writer Brian. The main character in this motion trailer is a messed-up cop named Leo Guidry, who faces not only crooks but also angels and demons. The concept is cool, but the involvement of Isaac makes it even cooler.
A crooked Louisiana detective with a higher purpose must psychically suffer the wounds of those he is sworn to protect until he brings their attacker. No one would call him a good person. He wakes up with a hole in his head, and a host of mysterious strangers calling on him, after his best friend was shot. The battle for Good and Evil has become very real for the person who ignores it most of the time. As angels and demons battle for the fate of humanity, he must choose a side or risk seeing everyone and everything destroyed as the stakes get higher and higher. Will he follow a higher purpose or do what's best for him alone?
In a press release, he tells us that he loves comics and that there is something about them that makes them great.
