Quarterback Jalen Hurts is the starting quarterback for the Eagles, and he sounded confident in his standing while speaking with reporters Wednesday.

The Eagles had three first-round picks entering the draft and were well-positioned to trade for a veteran quarterback like Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson, but they didn't do their homework on either before landing in Denver and Cleveland. They traded one of their first-round picks to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for a first-round pick in 2023, which is expected to be a quality quarterback class.

It probably gets to him. I feel like he's mature enough to handle that if that is what it is, because he hasn't shown me that he is worried about anything other than trying to prove you all wrong.
The addition of A.J. Brown should help. Brown was acquired by the Eagles for a first- and third-round pick. Brown said Hurts put a bug in the Eagles ear to try and trade for him. Both Hurts and Brown are new to each other.
Hurts said that he had the ability to make plays with the ball in his hand, box out defenders, and break tackles. He is a great addition to the receiver room, and I am excited.
