Dave Chappelle Attacker's Gun and Knife that Escaped Metal Detector

The gun/knife that was thrust toward Dave Chappelle looked like it could have fatal consequences, and this photo shows how scary it must have been for him.

The gun has a knife attached to it. The knife is real and deadly if the attacker had actually used it when he lunged at Dave, slamming him to the ground.

The big question is how the gun/knife was able to get past the metal detector. The metal detector could be circumvented in one entrance area. That is a huge problem.

A bunch of people, including Jamie Foxx and Busta Rhymes, attacked the guy and he was taken to the hospital. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Dave was uninjured, but he was shaken up.
