Newsmax host John Bachman said that Trump was hedging his bets when he promoted Josh Mandel in the GOP Ohio Senate primary.

The far-right Republican insisted that Mandel was the most Trumpian candidate, despite Mandel not commenting about Trump's intentions.

Mandel is supported by many Republican leaders who were shocked by Trump's endorsement of Vance. A venture capitalist and Hillbilly Elegy author, Vance no political experience and has been harshly critical of Trump in the past.

According to the latest polls, Mandel leads with 26% of the vote, followed by State Sen. Matt Dolan with 22% and Vance leading with 26% of the vote.

The former president was bound to make a mistake, said Vance on Monday.

At a political rally in Ohio last month, Trump endorsed a political candidate. The man with the best chance to beat the Democrats in November was introduced by Trump at the end of his speech.
