So it’s not worth it to save lives, but it is to play nine games in Toronto?

Over the last year or so, two noteworthy unvaccinated players in MLB have been Anthony and Judge. The reason for not taking the COVID vaccine was that he was taking some more time to see the data, according to the man. For most well-adjusted people, it isn't a big deal if you have a vaccine.

Toronto is the only city where MLB players have to be vaccine free. The Yankees played their first game north of the border on Monday, a 9-1 victory over the Blue Jays. Judge and Rizzo both confirmed that they have been vaccine free.

Why was this the breaking point? It's not worth it to get vaccine to prevent illness and death, but it's worth it to be able to play a little over 5 percent of the MLB season.

Only nine games are left after all. Judge, the man who wants to get paid like the best player in the game, is probably going to miss more than that in scheduled rest days or phantom injuries if the training staff is feeling creative.

I'm curious to see what data he has seen since last season that compelled him to get the shot, considering it's safe and effective now just as it was back then. Maybe he is one of the people who does their own research and gets the results of the double-blind study he has been conducting in his free time. I'm thrilled that they got the vaccine. This was the criteria that they used to decide to get it. They thought morals weren't important after all.

It's not an easy decision to make, but I think it's the right one for me and my family right now. What people want to know is why you made the decision in the first place. It is one of the least personal decisions one can make since it affects so many others. Almost a year and a half after the vaccines were made available, I still haven't heard anyone respond to the follow up. If you pressed someone like that, the only answer they would be able to come up with would be, "I'm a paranoid dumbass and not doing what I should makes me feel like a real tough guy."
