Roy Hodgson
Former England manager Roy Hodgson was made a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) by the Duke of Cambridge during an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday

Roy said he won't be at the club next season and won't be taking another managerial job in the league.

The 74-year-old former England manager was honoured with a CBE for his services to football at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.

If they fail to win at Crystal Palace on Saturday, they will be demoted to the Championship.

I have enjoyed doing the job. He said that it is a very demanding world.

Over the course of his managerial career, he has managed many teams, including Inter Milan, the national sides of Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates, as well as West Brom and Palace.

After leaving Palace at the end of last season, he was tempted to return to the game when Ranieri was sacked.

I made it clear that it would need to be a short-term deal between now and the end of the season. I came out of retirement to do that job.

That job has ended. I don't think I'll be putting my name forward for more sorties in the world of football.

I think I have earned the right to take a break and spend time with my family.
