The second trailer for the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney Plus series was released to coincide with Star Wars Day. In it, we see Obi-Wan trying to convince Owen to let him train a young Jedi. Obi-Wan Kenobi will run for six episodes on the streaming service.
The series is set 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, and Obi-Wan is hiding on Tatooine, keeping an eye on a young boy. The Empire is in control of the universe and all the Jedi are being hunted down and killed by the Inquisitors. The formidable antagonists are set to make their live-action debut in Kenobi after having previously appeared in various expanded universe stories.
Darth Vader is set to be reprised in Obi-Wan Kenobi, which features the return of the actor. Darth Maul was cut in half in Episode I but he is still active in the Star Wars universe.
