According to court documents seen by Insider, a man was sentenced to 60 days in jail after he groped and punched flight attendants on a Frontier Airlines flight.

The documents show that Max Berry pleaded guilty to three counts of assault within maritime and territorial jurisdiction.

Berry was sentenced to 60 days in jail and was fined $2,500 by the US District Court in Miami. It is not clear where he will serve his sentence.

Berry was arrested on July 31 after punching a male flight attendant and touching two female crew members on a flight from Philadelphia to Miami. He was filmed and shared on social media.

Insider previously reported that Berry had been drinking and was shouting obscenities when he took his shirt off.

Flight attendants duct-tape him to his seat because of his behavior. The crew was suspended by Frontier.

A company spokesman told CNN that the crew would be on paid leave and that the company supported them.

Two of the Frontier Airlines flight attendants, one who was groped, and another who was punched by Berry, were present at Tuesday's sentencing hearing.

They told WPLG that they felt his sentence was not long enough.

Frontier flight attendant Jordan Galarza said that he made an enemy of everyone on that flight.

He said it was a disgusting miscarriage of justice.

Berry's lawyer argued that his client should not be jailed because of his actions being out of character.

Berry took an anger-management course after his arrest and attended biweekly counseling sessions, according to a memo submitted to the court one week before his sentencing.

A doctor diagnosed the young man with anxiety and depression, and he is paying a significant price for his actions.

He was arrested for his bad behavior and it went public on the internet and social media.

Insider did not get a response from Frontier Airlines or Kreiss.
