Ukraine: UK cuts Russia off from management services

British management consulting, accounting and PR services have been banned by the UK from Russia.

The Foreign Secretary said that the ban will hurt the Russian economy.

The ban will help ensure that Putin fails in Ukraine.

The Russian media organisation and those working for them are targets of other sanctions introduced on Wednesday.

10% of Russian imports in these sectors are from the UK.

"Doing business with Putin's regime is morally bankrupt and helps fund a war machine that is causing untold suffering across Ukraine."

Russia's access to British services will be cut in order to put more pressure on the Kremlin.

Legislation requires social media and internet services to block content from Russian state-controlled media.
