A soon-to-be Twitter owner has changed his profile picture on the social networking site to a picture of Bored Ape NFTs, a popular collection which costs hundreds of thousands of dollars per NFT.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club is a highly coveted project among NFT collectors. The recent NFT project launch by Yuga Labs caused gas fees to rise into the thousands of dollars. Users of the platform are charged gas for each transaction, which is the underlying currency of the platform. Gas fees go up when there is a high number of transactions on the block.
What does it mean? Does Musk own a Bored Ape? Is he buying the whole project? Is this wallet the one that holds the Bored Ape? We don't know for sure, but Musk hasn't commented on it. The man will say something about it very soon. He always does.
