The leaked Supreme Court draft opinion indicates the court is about to reverse abortion rights.

The Microsoft founder said that the ruling would set us back 50 years and disproportionately impact the most vulnerable women in society.

Many others avoid addressing the issue because it is a political hot potato, but Gates is one of the first to address it.

I was shocked to wake up to the news this morning. A reversal of Roe v. Wade would set us back 50 years and disproportionately impact the most vulnerable women in society.

I support a woman's right to make their own decisions about their health care.

On Tuesday, Chief Justice John Roberts confirmed the authenticity of the document that was obtained by Politico, but he said it did not represent a decision by the Court or the final position of any member on the issues in the case.

Gates has supported abortion rights in the past. He criticized Donald Trump's anti-abortion policies, saying they could endanger millions of women and children. The Gates Foundation has donated to a number of organizations, with most of the money going towards family planning.

The Supreme Court is expected to rule on the Mississippi law by the end of June. Roughly two dozen states are prepared to limit or prohibit abortion access if the court sends the matter back to them.
