Kim Kardashian Had Trouble Squeezing Into Marilyn Monroe Dress

The struggle was real when it came to actually getting into the dress that Marilyn Monroe wore at the Met Gala.

It took a lot of work to get it to fit after Kim and Pete hit up Ripley's.

It takes several minutes and all hands on deck to help her.

The dress wouldn't zip over her butt, and she couldn't change it. The solution was a white, vintage fur coat that was partially fastened.

Here is the thing. Kim wore a real MM dress on the red carpet, but then scurried away into a room to change into a replica dress that fit better, and she wore it during the event.

There are some dirt marks at the bottom of the dress, which was never cleaned after Marilyn wore it.

Kim got a jar of Marilyn's hair from Ripley and in the video she says she's going to sleep with it every night.

The dress was bought by Ripley for a record $4.81 million.
