A lot of companies have already entered the metaverse, and today another big name is doing so. There is an interactive space called Spotify Island that will be used for the company's venture into virtual worlds. The setting is a place where users can create music, chill in virtual venues and get access to exclusive virtual merchandise.

The design of the Roblox island is similar to the brand of the company: lots of green with shapes, colors and icons. All of these are part of the game. You can get the heart-shaped icons for free. The exclusive in-game virtual merchandise will give artists a chance to connect with fans and earn money. The company says that a portion of sales will go to the artists. It said that it has collaborated with some acts to create a collection of items that reflect who they are.

The company says it has stuffed the virtual world full of Easter eggs for users to find along the way. Soundtrap, the online recording platform acquired by Spotify in 2017, has beat-maker stations that you can use to create your own music and sounds.

The first themed experience will debut in a few weeks. Users will be able to interact with Stray Kids and SUNMI through K-Park. The metaverse as a concept is just getting started and this is the first of many hangouts. You don't have to wait for K-Park to buy things. Sunmi will have items for Stray Kids coming soon.
