A government official said Monday that about 150,000 daily users of the Starlink satellite internet service are using it.
Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's vice prime minister, said that Starlink was providing crucial support for the country's infrastructure.

Musk said on March 27 that Starlink had been activated. Ukrainian government officials were worried that Russia&s invasion could disrupt the internet in their country.
The digital transformation ministry in Ukraine didn't respond to Insider's request for comment.
The dishes that connect users to Starlink satellites were up and running in Ukraine, according to NBC News.
In late March, Fedorov told The Washington Post that his country was using Starlink terminals. A person with knowledge of the matter told The Post that there were more than 5,000 Starlink terminals in the country, suggesting that the number doubled in five weeks.
Insider wanted to know how many Starlink users and terminals are currently active in Ukraine.
Fedorov reached out to Musk on the social networking site to ask him to send Starlink terminals to Ukraine. Musk said Starlink had been activated in the country. Fedorov said that the company continued to send Starlink terminals to Ukraine.
