A veteran wrestler is looking to leave the company, as the roster of NXT superstars has undergone a massive change in recent months.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful said that the star of thenxt has requested to be released from his contract. He spent his entire run as a member of the NXT brand.

In 2000 Strong made his professional wrestling debut. After 13 years in Ring of Honor, he became the company's second-ever Triple Crown champion. Strong toured Japan with Dragon Gate and Pro Wrestling Noah.

Strong was added to the Undisputed Era with Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish because he lacked direction for a long time. They became the most popular group in the history of the organization.

Strong won his first singles title with the company when he earned the NXT North American title. Undisputed Era ceased to exist as part of Cole's final storyline with the company. Cole, O'Reilly and Fish are all in All Elite Wrestling.

After taking some time away from the company, Strong returned to lead a new group called Diamond Mine. He was a champion before the title was retired.

Strong has in-ring abilities. If he is granted his release, he will be sought after by many wrestling promotions.

Veteran wrestlers are having their time in NXT come to an end. Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis and Malcolm Bivens were the most popular superstars among the 10 superstars released from their contracts.
