How does one defeat the bots on the social networking site? One way to do that is by increasing the number of passwords. How far will it go with that strategy while Musk is in charge?

In a reply to a follower on Sunday, the CEO of the electric car company dropped a hint about his stance on the issue.

Authentication is important, but so is anonymity for many. A balance must be struck.

On April 30, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee hoped that Musk would require all users to use their real names.

It was a short response, but an important declaration from Musk, especially considering his recent purchase of the bird app and the fact that some form of authentication is one of the features Musk has mentioned multiple times as a priority of his. His reply provides a clearer picture of what he calls "authenticating all humans", which may look like. There might still be room for those who need to use a pseudonym to express themselves fully and safely, according to Musk's vision of the bird app.

Musk will have to answer a lot of questions now that he is taking his account private. Content moderation, an edit button, and how to generate revenue from the platform are some of the issues he will have to consider. We want to know how he will balance the two.
