Get ready for a hike, drivers.
MTA tolls went up Sunday at several city crossings, including the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, whose $19 one-way bridge toll, is now the most expensive in the country, according to WCBS.
Those with E-Z passes will be charged $12.24 instead, an increase that tallies up to an extra $100 a year for a daily commuter to Staten Island.
Other major Big Apple crossings seeing a fare increase include the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, Throgs Neck Bridge and Queens Midtown Tunnel, all now at $9.50 or $6.12 with E-Z pass.
Tolls went up by 6 percent for E-Z pass users and 11. 8 percent for others.
