Tammy Bruce Blasts De Niro for Remarks on Trump: He’s Gone from ‘Raging Bull to Whining Grandpa’

Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce ripped Robert De Niro for both his profanity-laced tirade about President Trump during the Tony Awards and the backhanded apology he gave for it.

“I’m gonna say one thing: f— Trump!” the iconic actor stated on Sunday, drawing a standing ovation from the crowd.

De Niro apologized for Trump’s “idiotic behavior” while in Toronto on Monday and said his actions were “a disgrace.”

“I think that [De Niro] has really gone from ‘Raging Bull’ to ‘Whining Grandpa,'” Bruce said, referencing the actor’s iconic boxing movie and his most recent project, “The War with Grandpa.”
