With remote working moving from a temporary solution to long-term position, people are looking for a permanent home office. Igor Leal’s Sunken Studio gets professional away from the chaos and into a sleek subterranean workspace. The 500 square foot concept was designed for a client in Rio De Janeiro and features a sitting area, kitchenette, bathroom, and desk area. A glass facade overlooks a small courtyard with a bench, an ideal spot to escape the mid-day slump. Not to take away from the current landscape, the office is slyly submerged into the ground and covered with a grass roof to conceal the volume from view.
