Rain, storms expected: Flash Flood Watch across Houston area


HOUSTON – It will be another cool day on Thursday before heavy rain moves in Friday.

Afternoon temps will reach the 60s Thursday and Friday.

Our next chance for rain will be on Friday and Saturday. There is a 100-percent chance for storms on Friday, and the heaviest rain is expected late Friday night and early Saturday.

We could get 3 to 4 inches of rain and street flooding is possible, and it’s probably best to stay off the roads.

The rain will continue Saturday as temperatures drop slightly. The afternoon high on Saturday is expected to be 57 degrees. Sunday’s high temp is 49 degrees.
