Made from the same material as Olivers’ All Over Shorts and reinforced on the edges, it’s no surprise that the Ion wallet is moisture wicking and machine washable, making it ideal for people who like to sweat. Designed to hold 4-8 cards total across its two interior pockets (and no, you can’t really fit any more in there), it’s as minimal as they come, but would be well suited for bringing an ID, a couple of cards, and some folded up cash to the gym without taking your entire wallet.
The most surprising aspect of the wallet is the stiff “fold” in the middle, which looks and feels just like the rest of the wallet, but has enough strength to automatically keep it shut without a crease, a hinge, or seemingly any added bulk.
Available now for $60 and only in limited quantities, it’ll probably only appeal to Olivers diehards, but how often can you buy a wallet to match your favorite gym shorts, and have that actually be a good thing?
