Missing South Carolina toddler may be in Minnesota


CAMDEN, S.C. – Police in South Carolina are searching for a young girl they believe may in Minnesota.

Dakota Ray, 2, was last seen in Camden Camden, South Carolina on April 15, 2018. Investigators say she may be in the company of her parents, 44-year-old William Ray as well as 36-year-old Jessica Ray. Dakota was removed from her parents care for safety reasons, however, authorities have been unable to locate them.

Information shows that they were at a gas station in Marshall, Minnesota on Monday and may still be in the state, possibly the Twin Cities metro area.

They are believed to be traveling in a beige 1996 Ford Aerostar. Vehicle plate information is not clear as investigators believe the couple is switching plates to avoid detection.

Dakota is white with blonde hair and blue eyes.
