If Hillary Clinton’s sweating renewed scrutiny of her emails, you wouldn’t know it from this tweet

Over the weekend, the Washington Post reported that the White House is ” reviving a politically toxic matter ” by investigating the email records of dozens of current and former senior State Department officials who sent messages to Hillary Clinton’s private email when she served as secretary of state.

Senior State Department officials told the Post that they are following standard protocol in an investigation that began as Obama’s term wound down and is finally nearly finished. “This is about the time it took to go through millions of emails, which is about 3½ years,” one source explained.

After the story broke, Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris rushed to the defense of the former first lady on Twitter : “Hillary Clinton served our country with distinction and always put our country first, something Trump knows nothing about,” Harris wrote.

Clinton’s response:

But my emails. (Thank you.)

Meanwhile, President Trump, who made the “lock her up” chant a rally cry during his campaign, spent much of Sunday lashing out on Twitter over his impeachment. He accused Adam Schiff of treason, raised alarms over a potential civil war and suggested his own aides may be spying on him:

….In addition, I want to meet not only my accuser, who presented SECOND & THIRD HAND INFORMATION, but also the person who illegally gave this information, which was largely incorrect, to the “Whistleblower.” Was this person SPYING on the U.S. President? Big Consequences!
